School Valentine's Box!
My daughter's class party is this Friday and all the kids in her class were told to make a Valentine's box. I love a good excuse to get crafty espeically with my kids. So, I handed my daughter some paper and told her to punch out as many hearts as she could and here is the finished product! We glued all the hearts to a cereal box to create the "feathers", and used the 2 in and 1 3/4 in circle punches for the eyes. We used the new chalk pen to create the eyes and used the framelit Hearts and Labels to create the arms and her name tag. We tied a bow with the ribbon and glue dotted it on and tied some jingle bells to add a little unique touch. She is in love with her box and think it turned out pretty cute too!

Valentine's Defined...
I created this layout for my scrapclub girls this month. I love the Valentine's Defined stamp set and glimmer paper in the occasions mini, so much that I knew I had to make more than just cards with them. The Basic Gray is a great choice for a "boy's" Valentine's page, don't you think?
My scrapclub is on-going, meaning you can join at any time. If you are interested in joining, you have one week before I order my supplies for March. This is the best club if you are wanting to get caught up or even ahead on your scrapbooking. Contact me with any questions or click here to read more about how my scrapclub works.

I thought a before and after was a nice way to show the layout. I think I make my layouts pretty self explanatory as to where the pictures are supposed to go, but it is nice to see the finished product anyway.

Happy Valentine's Day...
Wow what a busy day today! I am the new room mom for my son's class, as of this morning, when his teacher called to ask for some help with the Valentine's party. SO one can imagine what kind of morning I had. I think the party turned out to be a success though. I found the darling idea for the "Love Juice" on the Tatertots and Jello blog, and gave them a little Stampin' Up touch. The kids enjoyed it I think. And I have to thank my sister for helping me. It is nice to have family around, especially when you're in a pinch.
I ordered the Love Bots Valentine's set for Zach to use this year. You just can't go wrong when something is beautifully pre-made, ready for the darling scribbled names to be written on them.

Treat Cup Valentine's...
Are you ready for Valentine's Day? I made these fun and easy treats for the gals that participate in my card class and scrapclub. I love these little treat cups. I have used them so many times, and still, they never get old...

So here is a trip down memory lane and some of the the other treats I made using the treat cups. Did I mention they come in the shape as a heart as well? Too fun I tell ya!

A little Thank You card

Last year's Valentine's lollipop treats

My Christmas card/treat, that I gave to the gals that were in my scrapclub and participated in my card classes two Christmas' ago.

And my favorite, the Nutcrackers I gave to my nieces when they performed in the Nutcracker last year.

Things I Love...
Last November I taught a card class at a local Assisted Living Facility that my grandpa lives in. They have asked to have me back and this is the project I created for them to make this month. In trying to stay within the Valentine's theme I created this box. The woman who is over their crafting program said that many of them keep what they make all year round in their rooms. Hopefully they will find some use for this box.
